Vince Chandler

Award-winning filmmaker and photographer based in Denver, CO.

Vince Chandler is a photographer and filmmaker with twenty years of professional experience creating art and documentary visuals across the United States. Their professional career includes producing the digital and print magazine series “These American Crossroads,” telling stories of resistance and persistence across America’s Heartland, as well as roles as Director of Communications for Denver City Councilwoman Shontel M. Lewis, Digital Content Strategist for National Cannabis Industry Association and Colorado Rising and Chief Content Officer of ƒ/4.20 Films.

They have worked in electoral politics from the local and regional levels, to lobbying the federal government in D.C. Vince moved to Denver in 2014 to be the founding Multimedia Editor for The Denver Post’s DPtv and The Cannabist, earning national recognition and awards, including a Heartland EMMY nomination for their work as a visual journalist for The Denver Post. They were principal cinematographer for the feature documentary film Running With My Girls, which premiered at the Denver Film Festival in 2021.

Denver, a national bellwether for policy and the cultural anchor for the Rocky Mountain Empire, provides meaningful illustration and insight in to how average Americans can impact D.C. encroachment. Once a libertarian cowfolk town, its Wild West personalities pushing and pulling from both ends of the spectrum, the increasingly liberal Queen City of the Plains saw discord and dissent in city streets, community spaces, legislatures, and homes.
